My TV wont play my MP4 files. Is there any way I can convert the files on my usb stick so that I can watch them on my tv?

More than likely, the file format will be DivX. But only a guess, would need model to know exactly.

Plus what the file format is of the video you are trying to play.
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j

It would help to know what video file formats your TV is capable of playing.

    1) You could try changing the file suffix from xxx.mp4 to xxx.mpg or to xxx.ts

That might or might not work. It has very occasionally worked for me with some video formats on my media player. But don't be disappointed if it doesn't work. It is a long shot but only takes a minute or two to try. Don't forget to change them back when done.

    2) Can you play them on your PC and connect the PC to the TV? HDMI connection is best if available at both ends.

    3) There are video file converters around on the internet. Google for them. I don't use them so can't recommend any. That will take time and you may lose quality.
