Ive got my lloyds loan info, what next regarding PPI claim

I have collected my Lloyds bank loan documents today. I was told the only way a loan is accepted was taking out the insurance and didnt realise this was not the case

Now i have all the details how do i go about making a claim for being mis-sold PPI

    Hi there

    I would check the check-list as well to see what may apply to you altogether.
    As it may be difficult to prove what was said verbally, but the fact that you were told no ppi then no loan is a reason, you do have grounds to complain.

    But as said though, do check to see if anything else applies, and complete the reclaim questionnaire, send to the responsible bank/business who set up and sold you the finance, complaints dept or head office address, and keep a copy for your records as well.

  • Thanks very much, it was also put down i needed the money for my wedding!!!! It was to pay off existing debts

    Best you dont mention that as it indicates you fraudulently applied for a loan. Paying off existing debts has a lower score count. You dont want to go into the complaint admitting you lied on the application as you would lose credibility on your complaint which is already very weak.

    They might mean the advisor put down the money was needed for a wedding, when the OP indicated otherwsie.....
