What do i do?

I ordered an item on 14 oct, Was shipped on 15 oct with an estimated delivery date of 19-22 oct. I contacted the buyer on 23 Oct and was told to wait a day or 2. I contacted the seller again today as item still hasnt arrived (actually needed the item for tomorow night) and he messaged saying that the item has been delivered!

When he contacted royalmail they say its 'complete'.How does that work? He has asked them to redeliver on monday.I then got an email fromRyal mail saying item will be redelivered (:s). Then he says that the item will only be redelivered if they find it as in Royal Mail system it states the item is now 'complete' ie.delivered.

Im really confused now.

    Xmas Saver!
was it a recorded delievery item, - that would be the only way that it would show as complete, because there would be a signature.

It sounds a bit far stretched for me, I would just open an item not recieved with ebay and then go from there, x

No i dont think it was recorded,It was Royal Mail 2nd class standard from what i can see on Ebay

Actually reading back to the reply the guy sent,he mentions it was sent 2nd class standard too
  • Sounds like the seller is spinning you a bit of a yarn - if it was sent normal 2nd class mail then it will not show anywhere on Royal Mails site as "complete" - its not tracked, so how is he getting tracking for it?? Just open an INR dispute - don't engage in any further babble as its just nonsense. You paid for an item and have not received it - seller is responsible for getting it to you and if it is not sent via a trackable service, that is the seller's problem, not yours........
