Credit Reports - Can you only do them online?

I have tried to solve this but I am struggling, can anyone offer some guidance?
Scenario: My other half needs to do a credit report (both still living at our parents house) However, due to a recent family feud he does not want to go back to his parents house for a while. He is currently staying with me at my parents house and needs to find out if it is possible to forward a credit report to my address or if there is a North west location office/company that will offer this service.
Been in touch with Citizens Advice, the people were helpful and said they would look into it as there should be some services that can offer this to those that do not have access to the internet.
However, no one could offer any help.
Experian have said that they can not allow my husbands credit report to be forwarded to my address in fear of identity theft. Tried to think around this by offering forms of ID, but were told we would have to make plans for someone to pick up the letter at my OH address. Not something he would like to arrange. Also stating other online credit report companies would have the same rules.
So how exactly do those that don't have access to the internet do this? Even the man at citizens advice seemed stumped that everything had to be done online.
Any help would be much appreciated

They get postal reports sent to their home address.
You can request postal reports from all 3 agencies. Forms on their websites - under the statutory report section, send a £2 fee with it (cheque/postal order). Or you can just send a simple letter asking for the data, providing your details and enclosing the fee.
However they will only send it to the main address of the subject - that being where they are on the electoral roll, or where all their recent credit agreements are registered to.
I guess in theory he could possibly set up a mail redirection, and so when the post is addressed to old address it might get to him (although it might be one of those envelopes that specifically states do not redirect).
Why can he not do an online statutory report? which would get around the fact he is not currently staying at his home address. Is it because he does not have internet access? can he not use yours? or a friends? or a library or something?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Why doesnt he use the online credit report?
Otherwise he can just elect the address as yours if the security answers etc are correct0 -
You're on the internet now, so can't you/he use that means of access? So how exactly do those that don't have access to the internet do this?
Otherwise, why not visit a public library? You may even be able to print out the report for a small cost.
EDIT: His only problem will be if they're unable to verify him adequately and insist on sending some info/request for further ID/online access code to his parents' address.0 -
The alternative would be to set up a postal redirection with Royal Mail. There is a charge associated with this.0

This is because in order to process an online credit report, a pin code has to be sent. This pin code would also be sent to his parents address.
Sorry I did not include this part0 -
Does he need a particular agency report? You might find he can get instant access with noddle.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
