Spending on a balance transfer card

Hi, can anyone answer this question before I call the bank...

I have two credit cards, a Virgin and a Barclaycard.

A month or so ago, I had a 0% balance transfer deal come up on my Virgin card, I transferred the balance from a previous card before the deadline. This deal has now closed and I am happily enjoying the 0%.

My Barclaycard has, by chance, come up this month with a similar deal.

Now, I need to pay for some MOT repairs to my car tomorrow. Can I pay with the Virgin card and then transfer only that amount to my BC without cocking up the 0% on Virgin?

Yes you can but the bt will have to be done after the transaction shows up on ac

There may be some residual interest month after month (for the duration of the 0% BT promotion), which may not be possible to avoid since you won't be clearing the total balance.

It may only be a penny or two...that's if the Virgin card doesn't have a minimum interest charge of, say 50p or a £1. :eek:
