Apologies if this question has been asked before.....
I have just applied for a Tesco credit card & have 0% for 22 months on balance transfers & 0% for 6 months on purchases.
I have transferred some balances to this which I am ok with but if I make purchases, do these have to be paid off before the end of the 6 month period which means that presumably any money that I am paying in the next 6 months will automatically go to paying off the purchases first.
Could somebody please explain whether I am correct in my assumptions
Many thanks & regards

Yes the purchases need to be paid off before the 6 month period (or if they are not you will be charged interest).
The allocation of payments to 2 different 0% balances will be detailed in the terms & conditions.
Edit - per the tesco website summary box
Assuming your actual T&Cs say the same then payments will be allocated to any balance from purchases first. If there is more than one item at the same rate we pay off the item at the rate that ends first.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
