From an evening shop, with a few extras for the list. The Herta frankfurters I had £1 MOCs for so 2 packs for 50p. I also had 3 Ariels but the till person would only take 1 MOC so two packs came off, would have been a nice little boost to my APG.
Very pleased with this shop, we needed chips, apple sauce (use it in the porridge) milk and apples so if I'd gone to T or S as I would have previously before discovering this forum I would have spent at least £7 or £8 (probally more as Id pick up other things as well rather than sticking to the list) but I've spent less than this in real money tonight, done more shopping and I have a nice APG to start again tommorow :T.

The quiz did have the capital of the Netherlands as Amsterdam the other day, so they do get it wrong sometimes! Nobody's perfect.:o
it was the 1999 Scottish election results which resulted in a LibDem Lab coalition- there was no UK one that year.
The Amsterdam one puzzles me. I go to the Netherlands regularly but nobody could tell me why Amsterdam gets called the capital when the government (and royal family) are in the Hague.
Isn't that like saying London's the seat of government but hey we've decided to call Birmimngham the capital.;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Evening all:)
Not been around tonight so haven't a clue what's going on, if anything?
I managed to go to T's and As tonight, a rare occurrence for me. Finally got some chocs. No Lilly OB in stock so I grabbed a tobelle instead. Mucked up my APG slightly with a bleeding razor:mad: I did my list last night and it was n/a everywhere except asda. Bought it tonight for £2 and it compared to Sains at £3.99:mad: still got a £10+ APG so very:)
AND! I got FREE socks in Ts:j I found a pack of the 4p socks. Went to a manned till because I had a HUGE! load of vouchers. Middle aged man on the till, scanned the socks, looked at his screen, looked at the socks, pressed a button, scanned them again, pressed another button then chucked them in the bagging area. looked at my receipt on the way out and there was no sign of them.....never thought I'd beat 4p socks:rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everyone is happy and well and has lots of chocs0 -
Just a quick pop in to update those of you who are interested, not read back since my post this morning.
Appt at hospital didn't go well. CT scan results had been chased up and I have massive growth in left side of my chest.
They're not sure what it is yet but they think that lymphoma is most likely
I am in total shock and can't think straight at the moment. Just want to keep cuddling my boys.
I'm having a biopsy taken on Friday and should know more when results of that are back. Looks like we're in for a bit of a rubbish time
Logie, I hope everything turns out ok. A few months ago I was being investigated for another minor problem when a lump in my lung showed up on a CT scan which came as a total sock to everyone, including my consultant!
A couple of weeks later I had a wedge shaped section removed from my lung by keyhole surgery & luckily when it was examined the lump turned out to be a lump of pneumonia!
I know our cases are different but I wanted you to know that I can relate to how you're probably feeling at the moment. I was in total shock as I found out about the lump by being sent a copy of the report through the post by accident before the medical team had chance to explain anything.
Whilst in hospital for my surgery I was with several people who had gone through having a whole lung removed and I couldn't believe how quickly they recovered!
Will be thinking of you & please feel free to send me a PM if I can be of any help.
Hugs
