  • One thing that makes me laugh out loud reading this thread (amongst about a million other things, is how people say things like... some greedy person has taken all the chocolate and not left any for me.. then you read back their previous posts only to read: I took the whole shelf.. all of the 500 boxes! hahahha.. so, if someone gets there before you - they are greedy. But if you get there before them, you are astute. That's the message I get.

    Even better is when person moans that shelf is empty cause some greddy so and so has cleared the shelf, only to realise that it was them who cleared it, and the shop hasn't restocked. :D
    Been there, done that :rotfl::rotfl:

    hello all

    anybody know what the cheapest thing at asda is i feel the longer your reciept the less notice taken as it looks like a expensive shop
    so i was thinking putting more items on to disguise a low cost shop in comparison of the APG you get

    hope this makes sense
    :cool:

    From memory:
    1 banana, 1 apple, 1 orange, 15p paracetamol, 11p chicken noodles, 11p curry noodles, 10p strawberry refresher, haribo tangfastics 10p, barratt's flump 10p, giant rainbow buttons bar 9p, asda giant white mice bar 10p, mushy peas 12p, marrowfat peas 14p, asda smart price batter mix 7p. HTH

    lol ive never cleared a shelf. my posts should be taken tongue in cheek tonight re someone getting there before hand (although im not joking when i say my local looked like the chocolate locusts had visited!). we all know how this works. but i do always try to be mindful of not stripping the place bare and leaving something for the next person to discover :)

    its the same when talk of deal opportunities come up. If I can get out there and report back to help others I will. If people keep doing all the taking there will be no one left wanting to do the giving :)

  • Evening all :hello:

    Been a busy old day. Did a bit of skimming and skipping when I came to see what was happening and spotted the MT, so abandoned my catch up to go pay Mr A a visit with my £11 apg :cool:
    Big thanks to the OP :A

    Thought there was no MT at first as a cheeky Sneckie lurker had left an empty box at the front of the shelf to give me a fright :p :rotfl:
    However, upon closer inspection I discovered another lot at the back of the shelf :D There are also some in the normal chocolate aisle for anyone else local that might be looking for them :) Results due back at 10:45, don't think I'll still be awake then.

    Stopped off at T's on my way back for some more free Cadburys Mini Rolls, I just couldn't help myself :rotfl:
