    Good morning

Well I went to bed early last night after a sleepless night with baby the night before and ended up with an unexpected and kind of unwanted lie in - we didn't wake up until 7:40 so poor OH only had half an hour to get ready and leave for work. Whoops! :o

Our good friend's waters broke last night which is exciting but, she has a high heart rate so has had to have blood tests to see if she has an infection and be kept on a ward to be monitored. If nothing has started by tonight she is going to be induced. Hoping everything goes well for her - can't wait to meet their little one :j

Right then, kids are both fed and dressed so I'm going to have my coffee and catch up on what I missed last night. I may be a while :p

From a sad v t shop yesterday, some fillers removed to get the dinner and also use up my Moments MOCs before they expired.

I knew the milk would take 18p off me but I was annoyed that ts coleslaw is cheaper than Sada - that I was not expecting.

So S and G, Kingsmill Seeded and Fish fingers still working

    1 x ASDA British Semi Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L) £1.00 £1.18

    1 x Birds Eye 100% Cod Fillet Fish Fingers (10 per pac... £1.78 £0.99
    1 x Kingsmill Really Seeded Bread (800g) £1.00 £0.50
    3 x Kellogg's Special K Moments Biscuits Blueberry (12... £5.94 £5.97
    2 x Kellogg's Special K Moments Biscuits Strawberry (5... £3.96 £3.98
    1 x ASDA Creamy Coleslaw (300g) £0.66 £0.55
    1 x ASDA Mixed Apples (1.15Kg) £2.00 N/A
    3 x Soft & Gentle Body Responsive Antiperspirant Deodo... £5.67 £0.60
Does the coleslaw not work in your favour ;)

Hi everyone, i cant even blame having a " baby brain " but i cant understand what benefit getting the difference back on shopping is, I understood it when it was double the difference and very good it was too lol but im lost now. Could someone please explain it to me ? Thank you.:)

Some people don't have access to all the supermarkets, so this is the way to still get the best price (in theory!!), and with Asda's APG they give an extra 10% too.

    Morning all,

    Lovely crisp sunny day here.

Am trying to keep busy today. Have got CT scan this evening followed by hospital appts tomorrow and Thursday, topped off with the dentist on Friday  I will be very glad for the weekend to get here

Sorted out and allocated our present box at the weekend so took advantage of the BS glitch to fill in the gaps :D OH getting really into the MSE way now he is seeing how little Christmas will cost this year. He has loved going to get all of the freebie Special K too. Rather than nagging at me, he is finally seeing that spending time on the laptop pays off :p

Treated myself to a new kettle last night from Ts direct. Am fed up with finishing my cuppa and getting a mouthful of limescale sick0025.gif So have ordered a Morphy Richards Brita filter kettle. Almost bought it a few weeks ago as was much cheaper at Ts than everywhere else. Glad I waited though as only cost me £10 in CC vouchers :T

If we are putting requests in for glitches, mine would have to be for Pampers nappies. The mountain has reduced to half a pack and I can't find a good deal

Why do younger children not sit/stand still when being sick? And why when you have a sick bowl next to them, do they throw up in the opposite direction?

Also why is it that you can cope with child sick as just oen of those things that happen but cat sick is another matter altogether :rotfl:
Our Sophie bolts in the door and you have to make sure there is just a spoonful of food for her, no more otherwise she gulps it all down and then runs off and it all comes back again.
Mind you with cats there is usually half a mouses skull in there as well which is probaly why its less easy to clear up :rotfl:

Would this be a sada v s shop (rahter than sad v m shop for Thorntons?)

It would appear to be As v S for Milk Tray only. It may have been mentioned already but Thorntons Premium are showing as 3 for 2 in Sainsburys (may not affect anyone as buying three in As wouldn't work) - have just checked the 29 items showing on MSM and only appears to be Milk Tray that has changed - offer apparently on until 20/11 :T).

    It does :D

I think I just saw the price difference and got annoyed :rotfl:

This was an off the list item, my OH as always still cant get the concept of writing lists at home before you set off. But for once an impulse buy that actually worked
