Morning all.
Cold and frosty here.
No shopping for me today after getting my fingers burnt yesterday:rotfl:
Another cup of coffee then I'll venture out to melt the water in the bird bath and refresh the feeders and fat balls.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -
Good morning
Happy birthday DanielleNic.
DS finally up for school, he slept in trying to catch up with the sleep he's lost this half term. He was up every morning at 6am during the holiday and dosen't get that this catches up with you at some point! So now it's my fault for not waking him and him having to rush.
Well at least he has a clean uniform and PE kit, he wouldn't if it was up to him as I had to go into his room yesterday to find it. He insisted that it had been put in the linen basket at the start of the holiday and wouldn't accept that even when the basket was empty the uniform wasn't there :rotfl: the whole lot has been done now so same time next week we'll have the same conversation with him insisting the same things :rotfl:
You got to love the way they're always right even when you can prove them wrong!
Hope everyone has a great day, I'll catch up tonight as busy day here going carpet shopping, then visiting a girl we've been helping out since she found out she was pregnant and her mum kicked her out. She had her baby boy on friday and her mum told her she could come home, that she made a mistake and was sorry but the girl has decided that she can't risk arguing with her mum and being kicked out again so is staying where she is waiting on a council house. Hopefully she won't wait long, friends have got an MLA on her case and his office have hopefully got her somewhere :T. Just now waiting on the letter coming through for her, they had to wait on the baby arriving before they could put him on the forms but there are a few flats available in areas she'd like to live in so we're hopeful for her to get one of them because they've been offered to a few one child families but have been refused because they're flats and not houses:eek: she doesn't care so long as it's safe for her son, better than living in someone's sitting room.
Sorry went on a wee bit but just so happy for her :TSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Morning all, grey and damp in Dorset.
I've just had a phone call from some guy(probably from Darkest Peru) telling me I had a problem with my computer. I'm afraid I lost it and ended up shouting at him that I couldn't believe he was ringing me at 8am to scam me!! He started shouting back at me, that it was my problem that I didn't believe him and what was the problem with ringing at 8am??? Unbelievable. I even hung up on him, which I hate doing as it's so rude, but REALLY!!!!
I need a coffee and to practice breathing!!

Anyone answer this for me please as this is the first time I have used click and collect
I ordered wine on a click and collect yesterday got daughter to pick up for me and surprise surprise they messed the whole order up by replacing the Ogio with Ogio that wasnt in the 3 for £12 - after a long discussion with CS as she was a bit thick managed to get it all 3 for £12 and the 25% off - but was wondering if I should have requested double the difference as this was a strore pick up and not a home delivery.
Thank you0 -

If someone rings with a time wasting call at this time of the morning I "go to find the person they are after" and just put the phone down and forget about it!! One of these "people" was hanging on for at least 15 minutes once, guess they've nothing better to do :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning
Happy birthday Daniellenic87 :bdaycake:I hope you have a wonderful day.
Sunny here but freezing. The car needs deicing. I've got to buy men in black 3 today for DS so I'll nip to T's later. I don't like baked beans but tried the 5beanz OMG they are so nice:D
I've got to go to school today as DD caught 3 boys bullying my DS on the last day of school. One boy had him in a headlock, one going through his bag and one going through his lunchbox:eek: It turns out it happens quite often:mad::mad:
Magicowen hope you are alright. Hugs to all who want them or need them. .
Have a good day everyone.0 -

That's a good idea. I'm prepared for these type of calls during the regular hours, but at 8am!!! Its just ruder than rude.
Next time I won't be so thrown.0 -
