Took my 2 vinnies and fingers shops back for a refund, no issues - but they did it correctly giving me 2 x £10.
I'll use the APG with the receipts even though they are marked as these were generated by the S>ESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

We all had a lazy time in Wales. The October break we always take it easy.A very nice place to drive and we all had a go at the Welsh language.Lovely people but most at the site we stayed at looking for work from tomorrow. If anyone no been or heard of it the LC Swansea is good for the kids and you can use cc.0 -
Too tired to go out today did manage to get some of the cooking apples out of the tree and tidy garden a bit. Had hoped to go out and get some glitches after that but came in to recharge batteries, warm up and catch up......
So I think the wine and chocs was ending today- is that right? So spent that time catching up for nought que sera ............. thanks to everyone for their useful posts. I am telling myself that had I gone out - fingers were not glitching after all and 3 for 2's were probably removed from shelf - there easier to live with.:o Also various websites say recoverers should avoid sweet stuff
My next wish for glitches - 70% cocoa chocolate, washing powder, vegetables etc.
For those in Leeds area - Seacroft superstore never have mags in - do Garforth? Missing out with all these coupons...... Does anyone have linky it wasn't working just before I went away but forgot to save it .......0 -

NEW GLITCH ALERT..
Hi folks hopefully this hasnt been posted..
Just back from tesco where I stumbled upon this to go with all the wine folks have got..
360 glassware 8 x wine glasses in a white box.. on sel at £3 each or 2 boxes for £4..
I thought this was a good enough deal in itself, but after checking my receipt on the way out ..
It shows two discounts..
2 for £4 glasses -£2.00
20% off cook/home - £1.20
so its working the same as the wine itself in that it is taking 20% off original £6.. instead of £4
so 16 wine glasses for £2.80
the barcode for the glasses ends 24001
I hope this helps.. I got two more boxes and left around 10 boxes there.. this was n3wton ayc1iffe.
I wonder if it may work with other thinks in the home/cook section but havent got time to check as I have to go out..
hope this helpsI'm going there this afternoon, but as none of us like wine, i'll be leaving these glitches for all you other wino's lol
Was it these ones?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I decided to gamble as still nearby and got 2 x £10 refunded for the 2 shops (she wrote on the receipts). With fillers the only "loss" is 1x £2.24 on Nescaf! Gold on each receipt - fillers were items we would buy anyway (as was the coffee actually but wouldn't pay £4.48 for 150g -normally £3 on offer somewhere). The APG is around £2.60 (so note even if getting a refund it does not remove the items from your original receipt in the APG system). If they refuse the APG then I can live with that - I know some people on here say you should really live with failed glitch shops as it is part of the game, but on this occasion I decided £20 was too much to live with!
Has anyone else noticed that on your receipt Fab Fingers are Biscuits but Something else appears as Gold Bar £4.50 ....? Quality Street tins match at £4 so 40p back on that - £3.60 makes up partly for the lighter weight tins!
Now for the maths on my earlier shop ... Yesterday I spent around £15 cash including fillers, deodorant and 3/£10 chocs. This returned an APG of £9.50. I used that APG towards a shop today of £16.00, so £6.50 cash. Total spent £21.50 cash. £10 refunded, so £11.50 for 3 biscuits and £11 of shopping - can't complain really then! I think that we sometimes forget that after your initial cash purchase we are mostly using their money (the APG economy ) to buy future shops - it is a diminishing return each time you have to add cash but still a continued saving until the glitch ends or you use your APG to cash out on a normal shop, at which time you can take that off your initial cash injection (as you would be spending that anyway).
Just re-assuring myself that the saving is still there now that the Fab Fingers have stung me!
Many thanks for all the guidance on here.

I did a double take when I read that you were posting on the pet food thread, I had been over there myself and had to check that I had posted here rather than there iyswim

All may not be lost then - APGs printed. Would you print the other screen that shows they didn't match or just argue in store (choosing bored teenage male checkout guy on self-service late at night as they tend to not pay as much attention!
Many thanks.

Thanks,
This is the only one nearby that sells it and only has the 2 flavours. I had intended to get 3 of each but only 2 chili left. Not to worry the date is 24th Nov so plenty of time to spread them out.
Have you tried your local Morrison's? No chance of APG obviously, but mine had all the flavours that Asda didn't so free food there too.
It's only a game
