Morning all. Blue sky and sun at the moment.
I've read back a few pages , but haven't got time to go back all of last night. Is this 'thanks' debate something I need to read up on, or can I skim past it and continue on in my quest for more DW tabs and foxes puds???

May everyone find all that they are looking for today(well, ok, maybe just the glitchy things then!!)
    Have a lovely weekend all.xx

Morning I too am supposed to be on this for buzz but have not had a pack which is unusual so wondered if you had had yours yet and what you have to do? thanks for any help you can give:beer:
    Hi Mags

There wasn't a pack for this one. There was an email and you have to go to the FB page. You'll have to enter your clubcard number. Once registered you will see a list of challenges. The first two were to buy mince pies and ice cream to hopefully get 1000 clubcard points. There are challenges such as for buying a certain number of products, getting green points and even for how long you've been a clubcard member.

I've had nothing confimed although I've started doing the challenges, so don't know if it's mine or just taking a while.

The same offer (25% off cleaning products) is in the larger stores too so should work. The DW tabs are not on offer tho but there are different offers that should work.
I haven't seen any posts that have confirmed whether they work or not.

I wondered if it would work in the bigger stores but decided not to try it as it hasn't been confirmed yet and it would mean making a trip out. I think I will give it a go later as I will be instore anyway so it's worth a go.

Evening all. Just about to try to catch up after a good day today, but thought I'd better post first ;)

Yesterday, Steve and Andy arrived about 11am, put together my new oak bookcase, assembled 2 Ikea wooden shelving units, removed all my stash  from my walk-in cupboard, and then removed my faulty freezer, putting it outside. This gave more room in my cupboard so, after moving my fridge/freezer to the other corner of the cupboard, they put the 2 new shelf units along the back wall and we set about putting everything in better order and it looks so good :j :j :j :j

Then today, we cleared some things from the hall, taking down mirror, coat hooks, etc, and put a bureau and bookcase outside to go to the tip. While I was taking several bags of rubbish, cardboard and my broken vacuum cleaner to the tip, they cleaned up, washing down the woodwork and sanding it down. When I got back, I set about doing dishes and clearing up, and they put the first coat of emulsion on the walls. Later I took them out to local pub restaurant for a meal, as a thank you. They came back and cleared the stuff off my bed which had been put there out the way, and then got off back to a friend's house where they are staying

During the day, the freezer outside, which had been totally iced up inside, was very slowly defrosting and I managed to get one basket out every couple of hours or so. I did manage to get some of the food squeezed into my other freezer (fridge/freezer). I found 6 Chic Town pizzas and 4 packs of garlic bread from Ben & Jerry deal   so we had 2 pizzas between us at lunch time, and the others are in the fridge for tomorrow. I have cooked a spatchcook chicken, a roast chicken, got loads of veg in slow cooker to make soup and I have 5 packs of Tosco Finest Sausages ;) in the other fridge which I will cook tomorrow and Sunday. Plus I still have ONE RACK OF LAMB ;) :j :j, a turkey roast, one pack of Tosco Finest Italian Meatballs ;), and some whoopsied pork chops and rump steak .. and one pack of Lidl weekend offer chicken goujons .................... you may notice a common theme here ;) EVERYthing is either old DTD, glitch or whoopsied, except the chicken goujons and they were special price :j :j

Unfortunately, I have 2 bin bags of stuff to throw out :(:( either veg I couldn't fit in other freezer or use up, or somethings which had started to defrost and did not look good :( At least I didn't pay much for any of it and have saved over half

It has been so cold here today in the chilly breeze that there's still some ice in the freezer, even though it has been outside with the door propped open all day

It has been a good couple of days for me :D:D and the lads have done so much :A :A. Had a great laugh this afternoon when I picked up the anti-freeze mat-thing which had been in the freezer and was trying to shake the water off it, when it slid straight out of my fingers, over my head, over the hedge and landed in the green/trees area outside the house. I was creased up laughing at what had happened, but of course, had to look in the window to see if the lads had seen me, and they had, and where laughing their heads off :o:o

As long as I ignore the bedroom and the back garden, I can actually feel like I live in a tidy clean house :rotfl: :rotfl: The bedroom is a job for the spring, when the wonderful Steve and Andy will be back to decorate it but before then I have to get rid of much more clutter and sort out what furniture I am going to have in there too. Oh, I got a call from Carpetr!ght today and they now have my cushionfloor in stock and are coming on Tuesday to fit it :j :j I will not recognise my home soon  :D

Mrs 3 dogs, sounds like you are having a great weekend, there is nowt like a good belly laugh to boost your mood. Now if I pm you my address would you Please direct Steve and Andy up north, I'm sure I could keep them busy til spring!!
  • Hope you dont think I am butting in :o but in my local, it is Cillit Bang Limescale & Shine, purple bottle, orange top.......

    3 x Cillit Bang = £10.92

    - £5.92
    - £2.73

Total paid £2.27 + till spit for a little mini pack of tissues free (worth 55p).

I wanted to answer because I have had loads of help on this thread, but not been able to contribute anything!!

Thanks to all who share their finds :T:T:T

Just to add, you can mix the DW tabs with these too :)
  • If there are DW offers in the metro stores I would imagine it would work, give it a try :)
