Don't worry Fudge, It's a particular manager that does the night shift. I had a few run ins with him when the last (32p) glitch was on so I think he's got it in for me. I'm going back tomorrow during the day, It'll be ok then.0 -
Hope you get it sorted scamps

fairclaire wrote: »do scamps!:mad:at these stores making up their own rules as they go along! I had a complaint this week and sent it straight to HO. I have to say they dealt with it quickly, professionally and I got a £20 gift card for my troubles. First time ive ever complained to HO, but can't complain about the service there
You're right I know. But a quick email will give them a kick up the a**e:D0 -

Great shop in Mr Ts today, went to CS and asked if they were accepting Asda@ £5 off £40 spend and lady went away and checked, yes they were. Asked could I use a T and A one in same transaction and lady went away and checked and said yes but I would have to spend £45 for them both to work. No problem with SK and PP coupons :j.
Then went to Asd@ and got the last two tins of Fab Fingers where I met a fellow MSEr  saversue. Sorry I took your fingers, hope you got more in your next store. Nice to meet you and hope to see you in my local again soon, will let you know when they restock
Well, what a nice surprise, I actually got to say those famous words - "Are you a friend of Martins"? to the nice lady who told me I was looking at the right biscuits.:T:rotfl::T Girl after my own heart, I think!
I didn't get to any more shops because got a call to say I could pick my Mum up from the Hospital and stayed with her until about midnight.
You might of got my fingers:eek: but I think I may have taken your
WW  because I had already been round and got 8 of them for a nice apg. Hope there were some left.
I could do with some more wine, but not as good value as it was yesterday by all the posts.
Didn't do too bad on the port though, got 6 (mainly for presents) cost about £27 but managed to use a Tosco £5 off £40, and £2 off £20, a Sada £5 off £40 and made up the rest of £40 with vouchers = 6 port for £15:D0 -
fairclaire wrote: »Yep you are officially addicted. It is an addiction. I also don't buy thing I don't need/want. When you start thinking ahead to what will happen when your current stash depletes and you start to 'top up' your stash so it NEVER depletes.......:)
You always think you have enough if any one thing.....but if a glitch comes along on that thing, you will still be compelled to buy it. I think you get to a stage where need doesn't Come in to it......you convince yourself you will need it at some point in the future
As for body butter. I have enough to last me for YEARS! I just hope as the wrinkles set in I will need to use more:rotfl::rotfl:
How very true, I have plenty of things in my stash, but as soon as I use one I want to replace it with 3.
I officially have an addiction, but I don't cause anyone any harm or owe anyone any money.
Sometimes I think it's healthy and a good pass-time, others I think its getting out of control, especially when I want to find something specific but physically can't get to it.
Never mind, I will have food in my old age, when I can no longer shop or take take of myself, even if it is slightly out of date:D So I won't need to go in one of those nasty care homes!!!

shirley999 wrote: »When I went shopping just before midnight the Ogio Merlot was still on sale and advertised at 3 for £12 (Tesco Warrington) but when I took my 6 bottles to the till it said item recalled and they would not sell it to me. This was after I had waited on the instruction of a shelf stocker for half an hour while they unloaded it off a lorry that had just arrived. I was a bit peeved so I asked to speak to a Manager. The Wine Manager (Paul H*****n) came over and told me they had been recalled because there were shards of glass in them and the whole lot was going to be poured away. So now what do I do about the bottles I have already bought but no longer have the receipt for? I don't want to risk injury to me or my family.
That takes the biscuit
Are they going to recall all the Ogio Merlot:rotfl:and advertise the "problem" in the national press and on TV?
I think £9.99 a bottle back for everyone, with or without a receipt would be fair:cool:
I only have one red and five white, but others could do quite well out of it, perhaps we should all try returning the wine for a refund today and say we have been led to believe there is a safety problem with the bottles, now that would be fun:D0 -
Well done 3Dogs sounds like you have managed to achieve a huge amount in the last few days and things are slowly starting to improve for you, little by little.0
