I found a shelf full of Quaker Oat So Simple Honey & Almond (10 per pack) reduced to 57p. Didn't have any £1 vouchers left (and can't get any as the £1 voucher has been pulled), but I still bought a few pks. Would have cost me 14p for 2 pks if i'd used a voucher!

Thanks for this were they in the normal shelf or in the reduced section?

mhoc, they were on the normal shelf:)

  • Small Asda Glitch, perfect filler.

When shopping earlier today I picked up 4 x 1ltr Asda Brand Flavoured Sparkling Water. These all retail at 41p each or 4 for £1.50.

However when I checked my receipt I found the Kiwi and Lemon flavour had rung up at 45p and the 4 for £1.50 hadn't kicked in.

When I went to the customer service desk the Kiwi and Lemon do trigger at 4 for £1.50 if you get just 4 of them, the SEL however shows them at 41p each and they don't work in the mix.

They are all on the same group of shelves often flavours mixed together on the same shelf.

You get back the 18p overcharge plus you also get a £2 gift card for the pricing error meaning you get them free and 50p back.

They're ideal as fillers for other shops as there's about 6 or 7 different flavours and they show up on the APG as different products (unique barcodes).

So in summary. You MUST get 4 bottles total and at least two flavours of which one MUST be Kiwi and Lemon.

I wanted to post a photo of the bottle but I'm not allowed yet, if someone could post the following pic that would be great.

Not quite what I had hoped for ! I thought that the Vinnies (not listed) would force a comparison with Morrisons for the Terrys All Gold - I did get the dark ones so that may be what messed that up. However, the WW Chilli didn't work either and I'm pretty sure that the Chilli was one of the ones that DID work yesterday. Not a total loss though - it produced a reasonable APG against Waitrose.

Damn.. I did a shop this afternoon against M, with tobelle, Terrys dark, and milk.. they do sell them in Morrisons, as I looked this afternoon, so thought i'd be ok.

Not so long ago there was a woman handing out bottles of bleach to young children near us... I think an 18 month old went to hospital :( clearly there are a lot of nutters out there!

    From tonights local paper

    Trick-or-treat children given cocaine

    Date published: 02 November 2012

A ROYTON man is accused of giving children a bag of cocaine as they knocked on doors trick or treating.

Donald Junior Green (23), of Mendip Close, has been charged with possession of Class A drugs and was due before Oldham Magistrates’ Court today.

Shortly before 7.50pm on Wednesday (31) police received a report of drugs being found by children.

Snap bags containing white powder were taken to the police and examined. It was confirmed that the bags contained cocaine.

A 21-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs but was later released without charge.

Superintendent Catherine Hankinson said: “The parents and police acted quickly when this report was made, in the interests of public safety.

“We understand this to be an isolated incident.”
