Hey there,
just wanted to let you know that I have had a similar issue with my DS who is now 9. I knew right from him being a tiny baby that there were some differences between him and other babies - this seemed to become more obvious as he got older. Main issues were a terribly short attention span with most stuff then hyperfocussing on other stuff. He is ridiculously clever and was speaking beautifully before he was one which at the time everyone marvelled at (as did I), not realising at the time that this was a sign of ASD. He has always been a difficult socialiser, doesn't follow the same rules as other kids and despite being a kind, thoughtful lad can't really empathise with others.
I avoided bringing any of this to his HV attention as I really didn't want to accept that there was anything wrong however once he started school it was soon picked up on and we were referred to the educational psychologist who diagnosed mild aspergers, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
After a lot of time, patience and sleepless nights from me and DH he is coming along so well. He excels at maths, science and IT is on the gifted and talented register. He has (finally) made a couple of good friends who are simialr to him and he is happy in himself. When I see him at school it is apparent that he is different but he seems cool with that.
Apols for the ramble - please let me know if you have any specific Qs and I will try to answer them xx and try not to worry.
Thank you so much for this.
My mister (DD's father) has ADHD so it could be in her genetics. Her speech has been excellent for quite some time and is the first thing that people comment on when they meet her. She does indeed lack empathy and has to have certain situations a certain way. She will get very upset very quickly if we do not follow certain routines and have things a certain way. She has pyjamas that she will not sleep in at her nanna's house because she can only wear them at home. She has warm milk before bed at nanna's but at home she'll throw it/ spill it. Thank you so much for answering me.May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Years ago I found turning into the garage difficult. One day DH had parked on the road outside the garage. As I tried to turn in past his car I misjudged it and ended up having to admit to DH that my car had hit a car - HIS car!0 -

No, it's my own shopping, definitely bought the £1.50 ones!0 -
The dishwasher tabs are confirmed
But I just thought, the 25% is off all cleaning products and it's coming off the full price of the tabs ( like the wine) There are other multi-buy deals as well so could work on them too.
I'll go and try when the weather clears but feel free to test it out.0 -
