Also did anyone manage to try the Lindor in Sada yesterday?

I read that we now have triangular Tob boxs instead of biscuits on the list which is OK but I tried these when they were in Home Bargains and I was not very impressed.

Also not seen what the true hard currency cost of these things are - no gift cards left and down to my last few APGs so I am having to be very careful sums now. My fillers were all things with pront off MOCs so if my store objects to them I am scuppered :D

Was watching Sky News earlier this morning and they were going through today's front pages.

The Daily Telegraph had a story on the T's Wine double glitching.

Hope you all managed to get your wine yesterday as this may end pretty quick now it's hit the front pages.

    Also in the Mirror

Late shop yesterday for whoopsies (which were few), but used SpK, WW & KC coupons in As with no problems at all.

Also went to Ts and got 6 bottles of Hardys Merlot and Cabernet - should have been £40.74 with double discounts had to pay £13.81. No Ogio on shelves and a guy was filling his trolley with all remaining reds. Big thanks to op and everyone for this one as we were resigning ourselves to a dry Christmas due to cash shortage. x
Thank-you to everyone who posts comps

If you have one of the following Amex cards...
·An "Eligible Card" is a valid American Express card issued in the UK by American Express Services Europe Limited, Lloyds TSB Bank plc or MBNA Europe Bank Limited. Prepaid cards, gift cards, small business and corporate cards are not eligible. You must meet any additional eligibility requirements contained in the Offer Terms.
...and you use it to spend £5 in select local stores in November, then Amex will give you £5 back. You can only do it once per store, but no limit on the number of stores!

You have to register your card here: https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/GB/en/ShopSmallUK2012/

The participating shops map is here - warning, it's slow and rubbish, and has lots of misplaced shops... http://www332.amexnetwork.com/MerchantHomeUK2?id=44775&selectedlanguage=UK+English

I am going to try this today. The first thing I will do is enter a shop and ask them if they take credit card, and if there is a minimum or extra charge. If there is no minimum charge, then I will buy £5.xx of stuff and await my refund from Amex :j

    Happy free shopping! :rotfl:
