  • Just been to T's for our weekly shop and got it down from £53 to £17. That was an unplanned shop, no lists at all so very pleased with that.

    3 x 1 ltr Ariel whitener gel £2.27each - used £1.50 and £1 mocs x 3
    Also used a £5 adsa moc and a £2 off £20 T's moc.

One of the sa's said to the wife "this is the third time your hubby has been down today " :o:o:o she said " yeh and he's been to adsa "

Was gutted that the cat food ain't in the double voucher scheme :(

No.. And guess what? Its only costing 200 odd quid.. its the belt on the steering. Thank god.

They're also going to give it a service and its going to be around that figure.

    How is you tonight?

good but doing some shopping :)
  • I've already had to do this but at Toscos the day i got mine, they accused me of having fakes  I took the letter out and asked could they ring that number and give my name and address and they'd tell her they were genuine. Needless to say they double checked the number with someone from the cash office and were told by that person that they were real as they'd had a call about them from HO as someone had tried to use them earlier in the week.
I still have it in my bag for this reason.

Surprise me, was this s'hill? I had an interesting time there today. Must just have missed you as I got the last 15 bottles of red on the shelf.

So the 'interesting' part of the experience. SA on till was great and checked my receipts and put through my As £5 off after showing her the leaflet saying they could take them along with an APG plus an old & new TPP. Had just finished the transaction when Queen Trout appeared as if by magic and asked the SA not very discreetly if she'd checked all my vouchers  SA said she had. Was just about to walk away when Queenie appeared again and asked to see what had been put through. It took 10 minutes of faffing and backtracking before I finally was allowed to leave even though by this point I had paid and had a receipt to prove it.

So it seems Ts now have to keep the As receipt. Or maybe they just need to photocopy it. Or maybe they need to mark it. I told them they could do what they wanted with it but no, they weren't keeping it. I asked them how I could return something if Ts had the receipt cue a lesson on APG rules to the Ts staff. They tried to say that I shouldn't be taking anything back after I'd used an APG and how do As deal with it. Had to explain that they simply mark the recipt and that things you'd want to return like books, clothes, electricals were not covered by the APG comparison so no, it wouldn't be a problem.

Even the SA on the till was getting peeved at the supervisor. Seems she's not well liked in there though I don't know who dislikes her the most - staff or customers  Debating contacting the FB team again after the help they gave following the flashmob at the weekend. That store is a law unto itself.

Pattylabelle - have found the Vinnie's in B, W and A but when I looked there was no sign of the Lizzie Shaw chocccies. Not looked since the fingers became the next item on the hit list.

A minimum of 6 ( for 25% off 6 bottles or more) and then in multiples of three... as 3 for £12 :)

    I know :p

What I meant was, how come they bought 9, not 6 or 12

For the NI gang, no Fabulous Fingers in D'dald. Plenty of square Vinnie tins - bottom shelf of seasonal aisle - but didn't try them with anything else ... I didn't take the time to write a list before I went so wasn't sure what else worked best with them!

They accepted my L'oreal and several Special K coupons no problem. The young SA was all interested in where I got them as she wanted some for herself!
