So pleased you posted this:T:TJust got back in and stopped off at the Express as they were just putting them out, so stocked up with them to take up to DS on Saturday.
Have been very brave tonight:oAnd took myself off to a slimming world club all on my little ownsome;)It was a new one thats just opened near me and I didnt realise that tonight was its first night, so we were all new and all starting together:TDecided to go on my own then I wasnt relying on anyone but I sat in the car for ten minutes building up the courage to walk in:oNext week is exactly a year since I've given up smoking and piled on the weight so enough is enough, and I'm going to do it.Just off to read my books;)
Hey Nikkilala - you and me both. Great minds and all that. I remember when you first talked about packing in the weed - well done you. :T:T:T0 -
Morning everybody, just popped in to say hello before I jump in the shower. Weather looks 'threatening' today, windy, dark sky with something lurking up there, hoping it's not snow!!!!
Sending big hugs to 3dogs. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through but you know you have so much love coming at you from this thread and hope that it helps you in some small way. I hope the doctor is able to help you with your arthritis and you get some relief.
I would just like to say that I have had a lot of help from this thread. Advice when I have needed it, comfort when I have felt sad and most importantly it puts a smile on my face most days.
Keep doing what you are doing guys, you really do help a lot of people who need it.
Jamsponge thanks for keeping us informed on the cove and really pleased it's blue today :TBefore you assume, learn the facts,
Before you judge, understand why,
Before you hurt someone, feel,
Before you speak, think.0 -

Thanks snap ant!
Had boys halloween party this evening. From past experience, 50 out of the 80 children were expected to turn up. Actually 72 came so all hard work of newly formed parents seems worth it.
I donated the juice from asda glitch! And sweets for party bags, flumps, white mice, giant buttons and tangtastics!!! Tea and coffee for parents, glitched a while ago. Only trouble was, i only did 60 so a few cildren got in a strop, now ive got to take extra into school tomorrow. Lesson learnt!
There are 15 parents who turned up to our first 2 meetings, only 5 inc myself, turned up to decorate the hall which was ashame. (i gave each of them a colourful set of lenor)!! a few more stayed to help tidy but i did have to bite my tongue. They have done nothing nor supplied anything and were being a bit rude re the lack of party bags etc.
Anyway, moan over. Rising above it! Got a christmas party to plan now.
Sounds like you did briliantly:T:TLoving the thank you pressies of Lenor;)Good for you. I really need to go as DS is getting married next September and I need to lose at least 3 stone before then. I have done Slimming World before and lost over 3 stone in a year. Good Luck
Must go now as I have to go to Mum's to put her to bed.
Go for it, you could easily do 3 stone in 10 months:)Listen to me, I think I'm the dieting guru now!:rotfl:Sunglasses anyone?
For one minute I thought that was your stash:eek::eek::eek:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

No. I've not been on facebook for a while. I do have an account there but I prefer to keep it separate.
Is this the facebook group from here you're talking about? I've not been invited to join that one. Even if I was invited to join, I think i'd have to decline politely, as I'd rather not give away too much information about myself as there are some odd people about. They would pop round when you are on holiday, knowing about your stash of wine and swipe the lot!
But yea.. your writing style etc.. appears to make you seem young.0 -
Not sure if has been mentioned but between 10 and 12 today flora are giving away 150 cook books...

Only problem is it's an aluminium ladder and turns into a skating rink!!! Not a good Idea 7 or 8 metres up!:)
It's worth it - we reclaimed our PPI and it paid for our last holiday and some more! Keep at it, a lot of paperwork but worth it. And then you can upset those cold callers by telling them you have done it yourself
It's those calls that have finally spurred me on. I'm getting them at crazy o'clock every morning and I thought, well if they've made a business out of it then more people must be entitled to claim than I realised. I'm not too hopeful about it because the bank closed our account a couple of years ago and they're now trying to say they don't have the records - but I keep everything so was happy to tell them I'll give them a copy if they wantedMany a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
