  • I have not won any Special K on any of my accounts :( Only seen that message once before, that was on the first day!

Me neither - but can live with it I suppose. I thought it had all finished tbh and was surprised to get the strawberry biscuits yesterday.

re. trouting of vouchers I didn't have any problems this morning in sada with the WW or Gs, they scanned perfectly but the SK safe coupons needed a price prompt as usual. SA wasn't sure what to do and asked supervisor who came and showed her. Can't tell you about the relief I felt and I'm still new(ish) to all this coupon malarkey :rotfl:

I thought it was meant tongue in cheek too. Surely nobody would be stupid enough to actually place traps for harmless, little children dressed up in !!!!!ish costumes knocking incessantly on your door?

**finishes digging the pit in the garden, puts two tigers in it and covers it with grass**

My kids (22 & 18) always complained that I would only let them trick and treat at houses of friends, but I was brought up that it wasn't something to be encouraged.

For a few years we would accept T&T kids, but they had no manners and would grab handfuls of sweets out of the tub, even when I said to only take 1 each. And I generally bought fun-size wrapped items, so no need to be greedy. I've also noticed that the age that the kids get too old for T&T is rising.

Now we don't have any outside signs that we T&T and don't leave outside lights on, but we do have visits from 3 different special needs kids in the area who enjoy T&T but can only be allowed unaccompanied visits to houses their parents know. They enjoy T&T but are too old to be accompanied but aren't responsible enough to be allowed to roam freely, so they follow a list of houses they can visit (I think there is about 6 of us).

Can I just ask if the biscuit thing is still working, had a quick read but dealing with 2 recent family deaths in the last week, and thought it might take my mind off it a bit.
I know it's vinnies and 2 x dairy box/or vinnies barrell. Just wondered if it's still on. TIA
Starting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

You know, its getting really difficult to open your mouth on here these days for fear of offending someone ! I'm not saying this in relation to anyone in particular and I certainly don't condone some of the sniping and unpleasantness that goes on sometimes - but there are times when I wonder how some people manage to cope with everyday life . Her comment about traps for Halloweeners was so over the top it was surely glaringly obvious that she wasn't serious and I can't see how anyone need get their knickers in a twist over it.

Perhaps I'm wrong and she did mean it seriously and in tomorrows paper we will read all about it .

i didnt get my knickers in a twist thanks very much...they're sat nice on my bum where they should be. And I manage my everyday life quite well thanks.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion - I think her comments are strange and shes starting to show her true colours (a few weeks ago, she was all nicey nicey).

At the end of the day, people fall out over clowns, cats, goldfish, lurkers, shelf clearers, coupon abusers etc on here....its natural that we have conflicting opinions...its what makes us different.

People say this is a family forum and scary clowns shouldnt be posted, nor anything thats inappropriate for children....hardly think JJJs original comment was appropriate for anything tbh.

I'll leave it at that and remove my original post if its going to cause arguements....am happy and safe I dont live near her, and the only witch round here is my 4 year old daughter dressing up :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
