Jamsponge - so glad the cove is blue on your birthday - hope you have a wonderful day.
Leenie - please come back ................ things have settled down on here now and all the water is firmly under the bridge - it is really nice to see so many of the regulars back and the troublemakers disappearing.
Lala - have a wonderful day with your DS - can just imagine how you are feeling but consoling myself that my time will come!!
Snow lying up here so no plans for today other than having a lazy day with the sun out all day - listening to the neighbour clearing his path with the snow shovel - brrrrr0 -
Happy birthday Jamsponge hope you have a fab day

From a womble.
I am trying to fathom out how this could work to our advantage!:D
Tesco comparable basket £41.99 £20.55 £13.98
Competitor comparable basket £50.35 £25.94 £22.06
Difference £8.36 £5.39 £8.08
Tesco was cheaper Tesco was cheaper Tesco was cheaper
1 x TESCO LAMB STEAKS 400G 5.00 15.00  N/A N/A
T. v A.
Asda's lamb steaks are £15 per Kg. Looks like Tesco are comparing wrongly on Kg rather than 0.4 Kg. Given that Asda have this correctly on their website and on MSM I'm not sure we will get the result we want if we were to buy in A, sorry.
Also looks like T's lamb has gone up too:mad:. I bought a pack of lamb steaks last sunday and they were £4.50ish for over 400g (I seem to remember being about £10 per kg).
It's only a game

Good morning everyone
LadyLeenie, i'm really sorry but you obviously want to come back posting otherwise you wouldn't keep coming online for a few seconds then just vanish, either come back or don't.
Nobody has told you not to come back all i can see is people asking you to return.
Just that other people that have said they won't come back don't, unless they want ot then they do, not a mix of the two.
Anyway off now. bye all.
Thank you for such kind words
Regards

Have been looking at some TPP opportunities for cheap/free Ariel. Depends on how many of the different £1 mocs you have as there are three floating around (possibly more?) - car moc, mag moc and ssm mocand assumes these all compare.....
Ariel Actilift Bio Excel 11 tabs - £4 T and £3 A
Ariel Actilift Bio Excel Gel 16 wash - £4.99 T and £3 A
Ariel Actilift Bio Excel Gel 25 wash - £8.17 T () and £5 A
First two come in at under 10p a wash even with only two of the mocs.
Against S, the small 10 wash box of powder is £3.59 T and 2 for £4 at S. So £7.18 T, use say 4 mocs (2 each of car and mag), spend £3.18, with £3.18 back under TPP, so free and if you have the SSM ones too then money off shopping (it is £3 at A so that would still work for 10p a wash if you are doing a T vs A shop)
Febreze sprays £2 at T, S and A, so free with the two mocs and good as a filler.
febreze spray what one? many thansks0 -

morning peeps
freezing cold but bright as a button here ...thats the weather, not me
waiting on the postie bringing me 2 x £5 wys £40 mocs from kind people recycling...then off to do my planned moc shops! Got 3 x £40+ shops planned....should cost me £15 cash (unless I use a pp and an apg)....and should generate another £20 in apg/pp
the first task is hoping the postie turns up...second is that A and T have everything in stock....the third, but biggest task, is finding somewhere to put the shopping when I get home
hope everyone is well.....and remember to wrap up warm when wombling
Hi Looby, can you post your planned shop? I'm pretty new to this...have done ok with some asda shops but haven't worked out a T shop yet.0 -
pattylabelle wrote: »Take the hit- sorry it was on Thursday....see we are now Sat:). I bought/tried carex and sanex in same shop and paid using wombles. I could not be bothered to take back- I am getting so much good luck with coupons etc that it is a small hit.
I must admit I did do a return of 4 items, non food items from last weekend that I had problems with but I got it refunded back onto my gift card, not real money.
They are so nice at this Sada CS it's not something I would do again for a long time
I am going to miss using my gift cards when I've used them all up. I've gone for just over a week now just using APGS, TPPs, conditional spens, mocs and used my gift cards to pay the residue in Sada and in t :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
