  • my daughter told me off the other day for a similar crime. "mummy you do know im in junior school now dont you?"

im also not allowed to sing in the car on the way to and from school in case someone sees her with me :o:rotfl:

Driving in the car a few months ago, my then 2 year old turned round and said 'don't sing Mummy, just drive'

  • Morning,
I got some good results in my meeting with DSes head of year. It turns out that they have been having problems with the 2 boys and that DS wasn't the only one they've been bothering. She took down info on different events and said it was a good thing I'd written notes as I'd spoke to DS. The boys were spoken to and their parents informed plus they have to attend a meeting with head of year next term too and the boys will be getting detention. If they do it again it'll be tougher punishment.

The rest of the day was carp though, it was my birthday but couldn't be bothered. I'd planned to make a meal but burnt or overlooked everything and the only thing left was mince so ended up making a chilli but overlooked the rice! Wish I hadn't bothered but had promised DS I'd make him something nice.
Thankfully DS forgot it was my birthday until I was sitting on the sofa feeling really sorry for myself as I had heart burn and am coming down with a cold. He went to find my meds and cold & flu tablets then asked me when my birthday was. He then ran upstairs to get me my card and shouted down that he'd forgot a prezzie. When he got back down he told me to close my eyes and keep them shut. I could hear rustling of bags and things being moved, he said to hold my hands out and put one of my boxes of chocs from SADA into my hand, so funny, he was laughing as it hadn't cost him much, I was laughing as it was a box I'd already opened the day before and only a few sweets left :rotfl: his face when I opened it for him to see there were no sweets in the top layer!
Other than that everything that could go wrong did go wrong :(
For once I slept very well but I put that down to the cold meds I took.

Its funny though, well not really funny:o but each time I've had them I've held out so long with something hurting that I don't care if it hurts when they do it, because you know you'll get some relief from it:)Although I admit to holding out to the one in my knee and not had it yet,cos I'm a scaredy cat:o

With you on that one - holding out for the knee jab/job and the scaredy cat:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all - gonna play catch up but then busy day ahead. Hope its a good day for all:T:T
