How about a disposable camera and photo album (Pound shop) so they can " have a day to remember"?Stopped smoking 20th October 2012

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -
How about a photo cube?
I've seen these in a few places for under £10, and it would be great for anyone. If everyone is family anyway you could even start it off by sticking in a photo in of everyone if you have one.0 -
I have a grey scarf. It's suitable for anyone, but my 9yo daughter would find it boring. My only other suggestion for one, if you can find within budget is a tartan design.Even with a neutral scarf, it's difficult to cater for a 10year old girl and an 80year old man!
What have I agreed to?! Any more suggestions are very welcome!
Can I ask what made everyone decide to do it this way rather than each person pulls out a name to buy for? I don't envy you trying to think of something.0 -
What about a Bobble water bottle? they filter water and my kids love them as do I and as do my husband!0

Does it have to be COMPLETELY blind? Surely everyone is finding it difficult to do it this way? With my extended family we used to do it slightly differently, so someone worked out there are 8 teenage females, 4 boys under 10, 10 adult males and 9 adult females, etc etc - and then you got told you are buying for an adult male or a teenage girl or so on. Then it still didn't have to be totally person specific but it was a bit easier than being completely random! An aunty sat and worked it out and she just emailed each family, so for example there were five people in my family so we'd get an email in November saying 'you're buying for two adult males, a teenage girl, a boy under 10 and an adult female' or so on. I really don't think it took her long at all to sort it out then it was easier to buy a present that would be appropriate and appreciated...0

I'd go with a christmas dvd.
They're usually family orientated so are suitable for any age and everyone likes watching a nice christmas movie over the christmas period whether they are 10 or 100.
If you've got to spend around £10 you could do a small christmas movie hamper.
Dvd would usually be around £5 so you could spend a few pounds on some popcorn, a nice bottle of appletizer or something similar and a bag of christmas sweets or marshmellows. Tesco have both for 50p in the seasonal isle
