Kitchen worktops

Hiya

In a couple of years we will hopefully be attempting to freshen up the kitchen with maybe new cupboard fronts and handles and a new sink. I was also wondering is it actually possible to replace worktops or would all the cupbaords etc need to be done?

It's certainly possible to replace the worktops alone. I've done this before in two houses I've lived in.

you may find that to change the worktops the cupboards have to be lowered slightly or the bottom row of tiles removed to allow it to come off & the new one fitted, sometimes you can do it but be prepared that this might have to happen.

Thanks. The sides we have arent horrid, they are a wood sort of something Not any damage that I can see so I cant complain but was curious for future reference. Thanks for the replies!
