I am looking for a replacement laptop battery for a HPG61,on ebay they say they are compatible with this model but mine is 4200mAh and the ebay ones vary,can they be used if they are more than 4200mAh

Yes. More mAh means longer times between charges, in general.0

They might also be slightly bigger in size to, usually on how much they'll stick out the back. as bigger the mAh usually means more inside the battery.0
