HSBC ppi claim success

My husband found the paperwork for an old loan he had back in 2001 which had ppi, I sent off the neccesarys to them, said they would investigate and get back to us within the 8 weeks. It was 8 weeks exactly we had a letter through the door offering us £1777, took the offer, sent letter of acceptance back now just waiting for them to pay it in. Do not give up, this one was simple but still have 3 which are being a bit of a battle and now need to go to the ombudsmen.
