Might be in the wrong place so apologies if I am but here goes!
My insurance have finally paid out after I was burgled and I was contacted the other day to tell me a £399 voucher for PC world would be sent to cover my stolen laptop and I'd have to pay excess of £60 before using it, that's fine!
Today I receive voucher and I'm confused (doesn't take much trust me!!) Anyway it says:
value of replacement product(s) - 414.98
Excess (to be collected in store) - 60.00
Voucher value - 354.98
What happened to the £399?! I've had a really hard battle with the insurance people and I'm happy they've finally settled but I just don't understand this voucher lark! I'm really sorry if this post makes no sense I'm full of a cold and a little fuzzy headed!!:o
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Looks like they have paid you a little more than £399. Ok, its only £25 but its a bit better than they said.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for the reply! The chap on the telephone the other day said I'd have £399 to spend whereas I now have £354.98 to spend!

Maybe I'm just too fuzzy headed for this insurance malarky today but I'm just not getting it!!:oKate
