Tesco 0% - how likely am I to be accepted?

I have a good credit history - started off with a capital one classic to build up a credit rating, ended up with a £1.5k limit on that - paid it off and got a capital one progress card which is still open but with no balance.
I also have a natwest credit card (apr 16%) which is my own bank and last year managed to get a barclaycard (0% interest for 16 months) which I bought a car on and a years car insurance. Current limit on that is £5k with a balance of £700 but will be clear by Jan.
Apart from the cards I have a Next Directory account and an Argos card. (Both clear).
So - I want to go to America next year and whilst I have about £1k saved up, I'd like to just stick the rest on a 0% interest card and pay for it gradually over the remainder of the year.
Tesco looks promising - does anyone know how strict they are with their acceptance and also, should I cancel my barclaycard once the 0% period is up? will it make a difference to my Tesco application if I keep it open?
