Honestly I'm quite strict on ebay, these boots were sold in mint condition, no creases to leather, markings on sole could have come from the shop! They have necver been worn other than when I trried them on and then put them in my wardrone. If the leather was marked I would have put it on the description!

What has angered me most is the rudeness... I am of the opinion the buyer just wasnt as keen on them when they arrived, have offered a refund once returned and not heard back since.

Thanks for moving the thread and for the advice... After 10 years selling on ebay a buyer has never upset me so much I'm angry because I know they are being less than honest!

That doesn't exactly tally with what your first post said
sold a pair of ladies boots, I listed them as new and said in the
description they had been worn round the house only. There was very light
scratching to the sole and heal

never mind, get them back and relist as used but in excellent condition. You may need to offer to refund return postage as well though as they are not as described, you cannot be forced to do that but many sellers would.

Sorry hun but I agree that if it is listed as new then it should be new, I recently listed a pair of shoes on ebay that I wore once to my own house party so they have never been outside, they were immaculate but I had still worn them so I listed them as Used and put in my title only worn once. Generally buyers don't mind buying something that has only been worn once but they must be listed as used. Ah well, at least you know for next time, take this one on the chin, refund they buyer on receipt of delivery and you should really pay the return postage too I'm afraid.

Don't know why people think its ok to list things as new on ebay as long as they put used once in the description. Why not just put used but as new in the description? Oh yeah, because people search for new items rather than used, so that makes it ok apparently
