Joint Account and in Debt?

ok i've been and read your other thread and see the problem. Have you tried citibank, a while ago they were being very good to people with credit problems, and i think if you applied online via quidco you got some cash back.
If they can;t help you i still think that you or your partner should open a seperate basic bank account for the bill ( in just one name) and you both pay a set amount into it and have all the bills coming out.
It seems to me you may need to contact Payplan or CCCS etc as i think you are pregnant and will have to give up work when the baby arrives. You will be in a mess then so better to start to sort it out now so you don't get stressed later in the pregnancy or once the baby arrives.
Good luck
thanks - thats a great idea about a bill account - is it relatively easy to do
my partner still has his Natwest account open (the one thats incurring all the charges cuz his O'D is still maxed on it - but if we fixed the OD we could use it rather than opening a whole new account - mind you. he's claming for charges on that one as well)Debt at start (Aug 2003): £13,500 >>Debt Now (Aug 2013): £3,104
HSBC charges WON (april 07): £1,103.00
HSBC PPI WON!!! (July 08): £1,166.00
HFC PPI WON!!! (August 08) £2,100
