Yeah keep to your budget, i read years ago that people with money can buy lots of property say a street and then make a packet renting these long term to the Council for social housing. not all social housing tenants nowadays have that stigma.Martin is King, But I have a few tricks up my sleeves too, i'll happily share the best Voucher codes and Breathtaking deals and Comps.

Do you know of any place where I can buy repossessed properties?

Local or national estates agents, or auction houses.0

There are several websites who will try to sell you info about forthcoming property auctions, but a regular email with a free list's available at http:// ukauctions. org. uk (take the spaces out or retype it as I'm not authorised to past in a URL).
But if you're new to this, remember that while auctions don't only include re-posessed properties, they almost always do require a 10% deposit (and completion in 28 days or you lose it) so you've committed when the hammer goes down. And having bought cheap once in the pre-boom days, I watch sold prices- some of which crept up to over market value in the boom when too many people were watching TV Prop-!!!!!!, but are now settling back to pre-boom levels.
Otherwise, just stick an alert on the usual property websites (Zoopla, Rightmove, Findaprop....etc) with your area and price -range of choice asking for notifications automatically as sale offers come up, and watch your email in-box fill up!0
