Hi guys,
I use my TomTom One (bought at Xmas) at least daily, though when I went to turn it on this morning it won't 'load' and just stays at the 'hand' page. It's fully charged and the reset button doesn't do anything
Can anyon suggest anything?

Does it Turn Off?
Turn Off and remove SD, Turn On, let it load, Then Turn Off, Put Back In SD then Turn On.
Did you recently connect it to your computer?0 -
Not recently connected to computer though SD card was upgraded in Feb.
No it doesn't turn off. The only way I can turn it off is to remove the SD card. Will try the above but not sure it'll turn off
Thanks0 -
Have you got your old SD? try that.
your New SD might be faulty or corrupted.0 -

This isn't slow it's just not loading at all!
I will try the original card when I get home tonight - if I can find it
Desperatly needed it for tomorrow night too as I have to drive into Birmingham City Centre which aslways sends my blood pressure up
Thanks for all your replies.

You may need to connect it to a computer and use the software to erase and reinstall the operating system and map.
I had problems with mine and, after a week of hassle, TomTom tech support emailed me some software to erase something from the memory card. That fixed the map authentication problem that I had. But they are *really* slow to respond.0 -
link up TomTom HomeDock to your tomtom
format it and then try re-installing it
usually cures most problems with TomToms0 -
Thanks will try all when I get home. I'm hoping my old original card will work initially then I can get my OH computer whizz to do all the reformatting on Sat!

I had same problem and it took ages to resolve. When I connected to computer, found I had somehow lost all my maps and other essential bits! Do you still have the original sd card with the maps? I was told to go on to TomTom home, and deleted files marked download and reload them! messed up for a while but managed, and now works fine. Still got the problem I will go through the info with you, LizVal0
