Tariff dispute and Swapping Supplier

My electricity company (nPower) say they have undercharged me on the Economy 7 tariff - the rates were the wrong way round. I don't use the storage heaters (cos they're pants, frankly) and am very careful with my usage. They have been looking into this for 3 months now. However I'd really like to check out better tariffs - can i still switch supplier while all this is going on? I live in a rented house - not sure if that has any bearing.
Thanks

Yes, but you would need to switch your rates around before doing any comparisons.
You also need to consider whether you could get rid of the E7 for a standard rate but be very careful to ensure that you don't benefit from the current E7 rates or E7 rates offered by the other suppliers or a standard rate could make you worse off.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
