Hi
we are visiting amsterdam this weekend....
:j
and plan to visit the following attractions....
madurodam (mini holland)
keukenhof garden
wind mill village - shoe and cheese factory
sex museum - red light area
Dam Square, Amsterdam
Alkmaar Cheese Market
Now we were looking for a travel card which covers all these city for 2 days and kinda cheap ...
i cud find that there is a amsterdam 48-hour card for metro, bus and tram within amsterdam and for going to madurodam and keukenhof garden i need to buy seperate tickets ?
Q1) is there anyone who knows better option than this ?
Q2) is there any attraction which we shud not miss in amsterdam (not interested in visiting any museum) have seen a lot recently :-)

Have alook at https://www.Iamsterdamcard.com
This allows travel on public tranport on main zones plus a fee freebies like a boat trip.think you can travel by waterbus( travelling by canaL is an attraction in itself)tram and bus, and its not very cheap.Never visited the cheese museum, not sure what thats like.Amsterdam is very picturesque so just wondering around is often enough0 -
not intrested in any Museum hey (nudge nudge

) ...when i visted it the sex museum was a musuem
.
it,s harmless enough except for the bit that has warning signs on ( remember a picture with a snake in that bit
)
personally the best two attractions for me were
Ann Franks House
and the
Van Gough museum
also a ride in a boat around the Canals is a good trip, they leave from near the train stationBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Hi
Keukenhof and Madurodam are out of Amsterdam, close to Den Haag. You need to travel by bus or train to get there. So you can't see all of them in 2 days if you also want to see the city.0
