Hi

I am a 56 year old divorced mother of 3 adult kids. I have been a single parent for most of their upbringing.

I am currently unemployed and really, really struggling. I don't have a huge amount of debt and some of it is being dealt with by CCCS, although there is a 4 figure sum owed to HMRC which I am trying to ignore (I know this is stupid). My youngest is a student and hasn't got his SAAS yet and although he doesn't live with me full time, just when he is working, has been staying with me and I have been supporting him from my JSA. Consequently the unpaid DDs are starting to mount up again and it is really depressing. I have been unemployed since March (with a break of 2 months on ESA after an arm fracture) and have had 2 temp jobs. Reading through some of the diaries it occurs to me that I should do some Ebaying, but anytime I have done this in the past I have made next to nothing.

Tomorrow I am going to see what I have that can be sold and list some stuff on Ebay, any tips on how to get the best prices gratefully received.

It goes without saying that my son will be helping me out once his SAAS comes in, hopefully very soon.
