How can I tell if my Kindle is a refurb (I want to sell it)

My old Kindle froze and Amazon have just sent me a replacement. Fair play to them by the way, I had a wifi keyboard but they've actually replaced it with the Keyboard 3G version which is worth £149.
The thing is, I'd like to sell it so that I can get two of the small ones (one for me and one for the wife).
I want to put the Kindle 3G on ebay. I've heard that Amazon sometimes replace with a refurb. The package today has come in a brand new box, the same sealed version used when I bought my brand new Kindle in the past.
I haven't opened it so as not to spoil it. I don't want to be dishonest on my ebay ad. It's either new or it isn't, I just don't know how to tell :rotfl:

Just say it was a exchange that Amazon gave after sending in a defective kindle0

The replacement I got was packaged exactly the same as a regular one. except that it didn't come with a charger.
Just one thing, all kindles that come direcltly from Amazon are automatically linked to your account, you can unlink it from your account but might act a little weird on first start up (not sure how never tried it)0
