Had a good shop today using acm vouchers

    Got :

2 childrens toothbrushes £1.79 + £1.59 each and a mouthwash 99p (342 on dental and 100 pts for mouthwash from machine)

Trevor Sorbie straightening blow dry spray £4.99 and TS shine serum £6.99 ( 2 TS products for £7 and 200 pts from acm for straightening product)

Cocoa butter body lotion £1.99 (100 pts from acm)

Total £12.37 so also used 75 pts for £10+ spend

    So £12.37 + 48 pts + 475 bonus points..... + skincare voucher from till

Then got Time delay toner, cleanser and exfoliators for free with some of the vouchers from ebay....will spend the rest tomorrow!

Finally used my last Sanctuary £5 voucher (the introductory one) that runs out today. As usual didn't scan, mentioned this to the SA who had to ask another member of staff for help with it. They apologised and redirected me to another till where the override key was, no problem i say, until i see what till they divert me to... dum dum DUMMMM... it's only the one with the old lady who point blank refuses to hear anything you say about vouchers, god forbid you have more than one as she'll refuse to scan it.

Till bleeped, she said it'd expired, i pointed out it ended today and i'd been asked to come to this till to override, she says louder nothing she can do, i protest that i was told to come to this till, she starts getting louder "NOTHING I CAN DO NO, NO, NO, TILL SAYS EXPIRED"... i inhale and get slightly louder myself, repeat that i was told to come here.. "WHO TOLD YOU TO COME HERE? HUH?" i sigh again, and say I didn't take a name.... she scuttles off to whinge about me to line manager, her colleague at tills get hugely apologetic and says not to mind her, i smile back and say no worries, i know she's never keen on my vouchers :D

line manager returns, lo and behold he was the blokie that told me to go to this till. 95p cleanser thank-you-very-much. (oh, and a flapjack ;) hehe)

I had the same problem today with the £5 Sanctuary voucher, meany sa would not over ride it and said there was nothing she could do

She also wouldn't allow me to use the £5 skincare with the £3 magazine voucher off Sanctuary items either

I ended up going to a different store as they run out today so I had to use them.

    Different store, totally different story!

Couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and I ended up with loads of Sanctuary Spa and she also scanned loads of the Green and Orange Sanctuary range to see which would work with the vouchers (mainly orange).

Moral of the story, if one Sa has her jobsworth hat on, go find another ;)

Regarding the Aromatherapy freebie, I missed out on it and I am sure I should have got it

Sa scanned the (very nice) bodywash at £4.50 and then the coupon giving me the body milk for free but I wanted to pay for it with points but she said I couldn't have it that way, I could only have the freebie if I paid cash for it?!?

I bought the bodywash in the end with points without getting the freebie as I have 1 in every colour now but I still feel cheated!

By the way, don't know if its national or store specific but my store had the £13 Fcuk washbag for free when spending £5 on Fcuk stuff.

It scanned as free at the till so you don't need a coupon :)

    Hello All,

I've not been on in a wee while. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby!
And i'm wanting to know if the £5 parenting voucher is still taking off up to £16? My parenting coupons have just arrived for myself & my husband & so i need to know the best deals!?

    Thanks for your help,:)
    Becky

    CONGRATULATIONS BECKY!

The coupon is only scanning at £5 now which is a shame :(

I used it today on a 342 along with a £5 skincare voucher, they do work together but as the parenting voucher is valid with anything you have to make sure you get things that are valid with the skincare voucher only or it won't work.

It won't work if you try to buy cosmetics etc with it.
