Hi, everyone,
Great shopping trip to Boots!!
I think this is a recap of what others have said (and I based my shopping on their advice), but here goes: using the £5 skincare voucher (the one you get from 10 shopping), i purchased today:
Nivea DNA anti-age hand cream 5.99 --> 0.99
Time delay instant eye brightner 5.50 --> 0.50
time dealy restoring hand and nail cream spf 8 5 --> free
Answering a question I asked in this forum some time ago: these vouchers are being handed until the 22 May and can be used until the same date.
For all those Mums out there (I was shopping for a friend), on the last floor (whihc I didn't know existed) of Boots Oxford Street about half the baby clothes are aither 25% off or 50% off. The toys are 25% off. The selection is really nice, and not at all like to internet stock which very poor. Worth a visit!!
Also, I did something today more out of curiosity than anything else. I printed several 75-points-when-spending-10£ vouchers out of the ACM and was able to use them in the different transactions I did (I separated the shopping to get several vouchers!!).:j However several vouchers for the same thing are not valid in the same transaction, for ex. I bought 2 nail varnishes and had 2 vouchers for £1 off, and those I could not use, or the 2 vouchers for 200 points for Boots eye drops, only one was usable per transaction.
Take care!0 -
Ooooohh, just had my best Bootsing session in ages!!
After trying the Ebay vouchers yesterday, and finding they went through fine, I had another go today in a different store.
I got.....
RoC Wipes.... 99p after voucher
Time Delay eye Brightener..... 50p after voucher
Time Delay Exfoliator.... Free after voucher
Then went to a small store that always has really nice SAs. Asked if the vouchers had to be used on skincare. "No, I dont think so" said the Sa, so I got..
Sanctuary Body wash..... Free with Voucher
Sanctuary creamy Body Wash..... Free with voucher
I had one last Introductory £5 off Sanctuary skincare voucher left so got
Sanctuary Hydrating Toner.... 95p after voucher.
So with the Sanctuary cleanser, RoC Hydra+ moisturiser and No7 wipes I got yesterday I have spent £9.12 (that includes the £4 I payed for the Ebay vouchers) for stuff that would have cost £48.62!!!!!!

I saw someone questioning their receipt because the £5 hadnt been taken off, and the SA was saying "Well, thats because you have to buy facial skincare, the item you got isnt facial skincare" (hence me going to a different Boots with helpfull SAs today). The voucher doesnt actually say it has to be facial skincare though, on the back it gives a list of brands you can get, then says 'facial or suncare' next to No.7.
If someone can post the email address for Boots (whichever one seems to get the quickest reply!!) I dont mind emailing and finding out for sure.2008 gig list... Probably a daft question....
Can you use 2 or 3 of £5 skincare vouchers against 3 No7 products that are already on a 3 for 2 offer??

:rotfl: Sadly no...its one voucher per transaction. It would be one hell of a good glitch if you COULD get away with it though!2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -
I bought 8 vouchers and used them all today without any problems, I really do think they are legit.
I was told I couldn't use them on sachets or non facial items so ended up buying lots of Time Delay wipes at £3.99 so free.
I also bought four different Sanctuary Spa items and used both the skincare voucher and the £3 magazine voucher together so only had to pay a few pence each timeStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110
