They said sorry & have added some points on my card which I have to colect from ACM. SA will be dealt with.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
1 point = 1 penny, so when you've collected 1000 Advantage Card points you'll have £10 to spend on everything in store apart from a few legal exclusions: postage stamps, giftcard/ vouchers, mobile phone top up cards, prescription items, infant milks (up to six months), and Boots travel services.
bitreally. this is on the site and says you cant top-up with points !!!

No I didn't want to pay with points, I wanted to pay with cash but collect points on them (80 Points per £20), although I have bought with points before & Customer Services have said to me again today that I can.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

they can't take points back....can they!:D
They deducted the amount of points given from the refund last time I forgot my card & took something back.
Perfume cost £27 I got a refund (less £1.08) for £25.92 despite complaining like mad to SA & CS I got nowhere.0 -
With regards the points been taken back I think it would depend upon the s.a.
Can you buy gift cards with points??? Anyone been able to??0 -

dont know about the gift card /points thing for sure , but I think I saw a notice somewhere in store saying you couldn't .
with regard to the points being taken back , it does depend on the sa, but I find that reverse psychology works a treat for me . Recently took something back I had bought on line , made sure i did NOT have the receipt and that they sold that product in that branch. Then exchanged item for something I did want and handed her my advantage card , and said "so you can take the points off for the item i am returning" and handed her a voucher from the acm for extra points on the item i was exchanging for. She said "they won't want the points back" and happily took the extra point coupon.
Another thing I have noticed is the smaller boots in little towns sometimes refund the value to gift cards for returned items with no receipts instead of making you exchange there and then, particularly if you say a reli bought it for you and you dont want to offend them by asking for the receipt , but you cant use product x.Started my own business and loving being my own boss

Anyone got any ideas whats the best way to spend these vouchers as I know there are restrictions on which perfumes you can buy with them?:grouphug: :grouphug:0
