PILON payment after notice period

Hey guys, I used to work for Little Chef. I was made redundancy through restaurant closure. I have 7 weeks notice period. This finishes on the 7th of november. I have just found out that our notice money and redundancy will not be paid till tje 9th. Is this legal to pay a PILON afeyr notice period lpses.
