(Saving) Sent e-mails

I wrote a really long e-mail yesterday (it was almost my life story) and it sent without any problems.

Today I've checked my 'sent' box and it's not there :confused:

I'm annoyed because in hindsight I should've typed it in Word and sent it as an attachment but I didn't and so wondered if there was any way of finding it?

I copied the text (right click + copy) in case anything went wrong but all seemed fine, is there anyway of recalling things that have been copied in this way, or does anyone have any other ideas?
