Tesco Insurance Services Sucks!!

 I recently obtained a quote from Tesco Insurance for my House/Contents which was quite favourable, unfortunately i forgot to write down the pin/folder numbers associated with the quote, no problem i thought (stupid me) went back to the web site tried to retieve the quote, -No Chance, so i thought ok i will get another quote, this was easy but it was a stonking £39 dearer

No problem i thought (stupid me again) i telephoned Tesco Insurance explained the problem only to receive very unsympathetic response which amounted to "Tough Cheese" they said i could get a quote tomorrow and it may be even lower than the first one. or considerably dearer than the second one - how reasurring.

I told them that i have the confirmation E.Mail which clearly shows all the details, and suggested that it would be much easier if a link could be placed in that E.Mail. with basic security questions which would then give access to the online reservation? i received no interest in this suggestion.

Needless to say i have now taken my insurance to another provider i will also be doing the same when my car insurance is due, there is no facility on the web site to complain other than in writing via snail mail.

My advice to Tesco is Get Customer Friendly, there are too many providers out there who offer a much better service, whilst i agree that the fault was entirely my own, we all make mistakes, its a human condition dont you know, however there is usually a "workaround" except if you are dealing with Tesco Cretins.
