Hi,
I ordered a CD from a catalogue about a year ago. This was "music & more" The CD arrived, and that was fine but they have since every 2/3 months been sending me more CD's.
I Don't Want these CD's but with the CD's they say that if I don't return the CD's within 14 days I will be sent a bill for the CD, to the tune of $19.99!
It is a real pain because I have to package up and return the CD's, also they say I have to return them Recorded Delivery or they cannot be held liable and I may be charged. I have sent them a letter saying I do NOT want these CD's but they have ignored me and still sending them with the bills!!!
Please can someone tell me what I can do with these CD's?
Thanks
Steve

If you have cancelled the contract that gave them permission to send them in the first place, then treat them as unsolicited mail and tell them they need to be either uplifted or destroyed.0

Have you perhaps signed up to a subscription service with a minimum membership period?
You said $19.99.......is it an american company?
Do you have a link to their site at all so we can take a look at the T&C's?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I was a member of one of those book clubs when I was based at RAF Kinloss in Scotland. When I received my posting to RAF Bruggen in Germany,I cancelled the membership & sent the letter recorded delivery on the advice from my Sargent, that was about 6 weeks before I was posted.
Got to Germany & a couple months later I started to receive the monthly club magazines, but because of the delay in the mail being re-directed from Kinloss to Bruggen,by the time I received it,the monthly choice had already been sent to me.
So again I contacted them, stating I'd cancelled my membership some months prior & if they wanted their books back, they would have to pay for the return.I certainly wasn't going to pay for it,despite using the BFPO postal service.
Eventually I started to get letters from their default department & debt collectors &,in the end,had to involve a local English solicitor to get them to stop by sending a solicitors letter. That was 20 years ago & I still have the books..0 -

When did you send the letter?
You do know that you have the right once cancelled to claim the money back via your bank?
So ring your bank and claim back any after the date of your letter.
(timescales do apply for refunds)Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Was your letter sent recorded delivery? If not i would re-send letter again, reminding them of previous letter as well, recorded delivery. Also state that any further communications will be deemed as harrasment and that they need to uplift any CDs within 14 days else they will be destroyed (just keep them
)
Leave as this but do keep records of all communcations you have sent and received."I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0
