Hey guys new to forum how goes it:beer: I broke my leg in january fractured tibial plataux so was in a cast for 5 months then a brace for 2 months and been walking on it last couple of moths getting the muscle back and whatnot..
Before i broke my leg i was with standguide and had received a jsa sanction from them for missed apointments from the start of jan but it didnt come into place as i had switched to esa with the broken leg..
They got back in contact with me after 6 months on a cold call i thought it was from the job centre and i fked up and ended up with an apointment witht them even though i had my leg in a brace and these were the same ones who had sanctioned me in jan...
I have been to standguide etc before and they have all been ok apart from this group who seem to have a personal grudge against people on benefits and use the sanction as a weapon..
Anyway
My esa stopped on oct 3 and am not currently receiving any benefit
I had an apointment with standguide today i phoned them this morning and told them i am not currently receiving benefit and my advisor told me i still have to attend the apointment..
i argued i was not in receipt of benefit so was under no obligation to atend she disagreed.
i told her she had no control over my life and could do nothing
she replied with i do have control of your life and will make sure i send out a scanction when you do sign on for this missed apointment and then put the phone down on me......
So i phoned back and have complaind to her manager who even agreed that if im not receiving benefit i do not have to attend i have allso asked for an appology for her rude behavior but am yet to recieve that.

    So what's your question?
  • Well i asumed i was a customer of standguide and as i customer i must have rights
and i thought at least one of them would be not to be bullied and fed incorrect information
Not to mention putting the phone down on a customer is very rude
  • So what do you want exactly?

Well there is not much information on these guys and there tactics and since there offices are full of customers i find that strange..
Not one video on youtube from a happy or digruntled customer all i have is my experinces with them
    i would like to know
how much these guys get when they force you into a job or put you on some worktrial and especily how much they get when they sanction a customer
because i dont see these people as there to help me there there to help themselfs
a saction is easy to send but what about the effect that has on the customer jsa stopped housing benefit stopped even if you have a valid reason to miss the apointment they can end it all if they see fit all to get a commision i suspect..
    i just think there rogue
