Disabled/any benefits

Hello, i am disabled, and m,y husband is on a pension. I keep warm with a halogen heater as we do not want to incur a large gas and electric bill.
Does anyone know if there is a company that does a discount for disabled people?

Have you taken advantage of the free insulation offers from your energy supplier?
Have you checked you are on the most competitive tariff?
I assume you get your winter fuel allowance.
Bear in mind that an electric heater costs 3 times more than the equivalent in gas.

Also make sure that you are on the suppliers Priority register if you have any special needs. The government has asked the suppliers to replace social tariffs with the WHD.
