There is a Slimming World recipe for jelly sweets made using jelly crystals, a mullerlight and a sachet of gelatine, pretty sure you could easily make it veggie if you wanted to. I can post it later if you're interested?************************************

I haven't tried the non-veggie version, so don't know how they compare; not knowing the difference, I quite liked them.
I do like their one green ear though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The Spanish struggle to understand the concept of vegetarianism. She was regularly told that if she doesn't eat meat then they can make something for her using ham (??????)

Last year we were sending Red Cross Percy Pig parcels to daughter in Spain. The Spanish struggle to understand the concept of vegetarianism. She was regularly told that if she doesn't eat meat then they can make something for her using ham (??????)
Chinese takeaways seem to have a problem with vegetarianism too - their 'veggie' options often include oyster sauce!0 -
Thanks everyone for all your replies

Jelly Sweets (similar to Haribo)
2 sachets sugar free jelly crystals
2 sachets powdered gelatine1 pot mullerlight yoghurt
To half a pint of boiling water add both jelly and gelatin sachets and stir well.
Pour 2/3 rds of jelly into a flat-ish container eg a lasagne dish.
Put in fridge until set.
Whisk the Muller yogurt into the rest of the jelly.
Once bottom layer set then pour on jelly/muller mix and place back in fridge to set.
Once set cut into bite size pieces.
All you'd have to do is substitute the jelly crystals and gelatine for veggie versionsApparently it can make quite a few depending on what depth/size of tray you set them on

There are a few things that will thicken like gelatin. Pectin, agar, and cornstarch are a few.
