Payment Protection

I remember taking out a loan in 1996 with Abbey National and took out Payment Protection. I don't have any documentation or information about this account anymore. I have contacted Santander and they are unable to find my account since it is over 6 years old and said if I can find my account details they will payout. How do I go about tracking my old account?

If they have no records then you need to supply them your records. If you have no records as well then its game over.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I agree with Dunstonh.
But from your post you say 'I took out PPI' it comes over as if you took it out because you wanted to. So no miss sale.
You dont get it back, just because you took it out.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
