there is alot of difference between a poorly dog snapping and a vicious dog, as the wpc said to me that she is a dog person but that dog is mean.

and why should another person have to be bitten before anything can be done. suppose the next person is a young child.

the news from the hospital wasnt great, at least 3-4 operations, skin grafts.

Oh my god, are you from Hatfield?? Just read that on the front page of the Times yesterday! Thought it was a terrible thing to happen, and I hope that the dog is found and dealt with accordingly.

I don't understand that law that says if you are in charge of the dog and it does this then it cannot be counted as a dog attack. I really sympathise and hope your nephew keeps his spirits up.

    Hi Sanran,

I'm so sorry to hear of this awful accident and I hope your nephew recovers well.

Could I also thank you for posting this. I would of done the exact same thing and held the dog. This has highened my awareness.

    best wishes
