do you mind if I ask you about your system as I'm also looking at getting cctv. The cameras though do appear to be quite rubbish even a 700tvl a person more than a few feet away quickly fades into a blur, cars parked a few metres away you can't even make out what make they are.

Just wondering what sort of system your getting and are you satisfied with the results? thx

Look at IP / Network Cameras.

They plug directly into a router, some even WiFi, and you're able to record onto your PC. You're also able to view them anywhere in the world.
