With no income, no. And it seems this would only solve a problem temporariy.
I suggest you see CAB or get some other advice, as a priority.0 -
What a horrible situation to be in. I endorse zx81's advice, but contact Shelter urgently - you may be able to delay eviction with their help, especially if you have children.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

Hi OP, I'm afraid no reputable lender will give you any cash when you don't have an income, also if you don't have a good credit history (and if you're already in debt, im guessing you won't have)
And zx81 has already said, even if you could get it together, it's only a short term solution. Could you afford to pay next months rent / mortgage if you don't find a job? And hwo would you repay the loan?
You need to start looking at a long term solution. Contact CAB ,Shelter and also your local housing department.0 -
Hi Tess
Are you still both unemployed? Have you been claiming housing benefit and whatever benefits you are entitled to since you lost your jobs?
Are you in a private rent? How far are you in arrears? Is your landlord aware you have lost your income?
You won't be able to get a loan with no income, and it sounds like you would struggle to repay it anyway.
As the others have suggested you need professional advice from shelter/CAB on this situation.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

No dealer wins this is not a wind up.
Thanks to everyone else for your replies, my husband took a job delivering take away food (self employed) we had to re apply for housing benefit, and we were expected to pay full rent while they considered our application, without proper accounts they cancelled our application and still want full rent for that time, he now works for 2 take away shops and works 7 nights a week, he has seen an accountant and is learning from another delivery driver how to do his accounts.
The court case was held on 9/10/12 and a decree for eviction was granted, i have spoken with an adviser from shelter they sent me forms to fill in which i have sent back.
The homeless officer from the council said we are intentionally homeless and the eviction will go ahead, my youngest child is 12, the council say they will allow us temporary accommodation for a short time until we make our own arrangements.
I'm not sure why i posted on the forum, i know my situation is pretty much hopeless but its difficult to think rationally during a crisis.0 -
You might want to try posting on the housing section of the forum about your situation - although as you are already in touch with shelter then they may not be able to offer much more advise about your eviction.
But may be able to help advise on what to do next in terms of trying to secure new accomodation.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
