Not forgetting the money spent on suicide nets at Foxconn to catch the jumpers.:D

I'm not defending anyone, but the jumpers had a reason.

if someone jumped and died foxcon had polices in place to pay a pretty hefty financial sum to the jumpers spouse or parents.

It's gone now, but back in the day pre nets there was almost a grim financial bonus.

It will be interesting (given the previous ceo's opinions that you can't make tablet apps for a screen less than 10") to see what happens with the app store for this one - assuming it won't have the guts to run apps designed for the ipad3 (processor and screen wise) so will there be a new ipad mini market (or will it be iphone apps), or will apple just let this one slip away quietly? seems they haven't tried too hard with the first iteration of it anyway...

  • Unfortunately for me as someone who frequently works away from home, if I want to watch sky tv, my only option is the apple tablets. I'd love to save money and get a kindle hd but sky are locked into apple which forces my choice.

the skygo app is available for android, but only certain models at the moment, have seen a few on xda devs getting it going, and they are currently testing it on jelly bean, so I wouldn't rush in just yet, in the mean time you could watch tvcatchup or something similar to get your tv hit for free...

The label price doesn't always equal the price you pay an the till once sales taxes are added.

Apple products have a premium price tag shocker! What next, thousands of posts about how a BMW 3 series does exactly the same thing as a Ford Mondeo yet cost more to buy?

Want one, buy one. Don't want one, don't buy one. It's simple.

Seriously, why is there such a need for people to give such a huge damn about how other people decide to spend their money. I don't see the value in buying a sports car, but I don't spam forums with asinine comments about how they're not worth it (imo)...

American prices don't include tax, so the prices are slightly closer than it first appears...
